Introducing the Caring Connections Neighborhood Hub – a warm and welcoming space designed to support individuals living with dementia and their family caregivers. Our innovative hub fosters an inclusive environment where meaningful connections are built and valuable resources are within reach.
Here, you’ll find engaging activities for both individuals and caregivers to enjoy together, access to respite resources, guidance from professionals and opportunities to connect with others who understand your journey. Join us as we work together to create a more dementia-friendly community!
Caring Connections Resources:
Join us at the Memory Cafe, where people living with dementia and their family caregivers gather monthly to find connection and camaraderie. Enjoy engaging activities, entertainment, and light refreshments.
Memory Café meets the first Wednesday of each month at The J (formally the JCC) from 1-3pm. Each session has its own theme and activities.
LEARN MOREEnjoy a day out at the movies! In partnership with The J and the Berman Theater, these films are chosen with your loved one in mind.
Movies are offered three times a year.
Cognitive training classes are offered through Mind University for both the caregiver and their loved one. While you sharpen your mind, your loved one will be engaged in a class just right for them.
