Founded by Natalie and Manny Charach, in loving memory of their daughter Janice, the gallery first opened its doors in 1991. Janice Charach received many honors for her work and is included in many private collections, as well as in public displays at the Kresge Foundation and Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital. As a graduate of the Center for Creative Studies (CCS) in 1972, she understood and believed in the concerns of emerging artists. It is thanks to her dreams and love of art that the Janice Charach Gallery was established and provides a world-class forum for the creation and exhibition of artworks for all.
