At Camp Kehilla, children express themselves, enjoy friendships, build skills, embrace diversity and feel part of a supportive community. Our experienced and trained staff help make it one of the premier camps in Metro Detroit.

Our progressive and age-appropriate groups and programs cater to grade-specific social, developmental and physical needs. Groups within Camp Kehilla include:
- Kindergarten (Masa)
- First and second grades (Gesher)
- Third through sixth grades (Kadima)
Camp dates
Camp Kehilla is $525 per week. If a certain week of Camp Kehilla does not appear on the camper application when you apply, this means that week is currently full. To be added to the waitlist, please email camp@jccdet.org.
Week 1: 6/23-6/27
Week 2: 6/30-7/3 (No camp July 4th), 4th of July Party (7/3)
Week 3: 7/7-7/11
Week 4: 7/14-7/18, **Family Shabbat (7/18)
Week 5: 7/21-7/25, Maccabiah Games (7/22-7/24)
Week 6: 7/28-8/1, Messy Day (7/31)
Week 7: 8/4-8/8, Israel Day (8/7)
Week 8: 8/11-8/15, **Talent Show (8/15)
Post Camp: 8/18-8/22

Extended care
To ensure day camp is accessible to everyone, we offer extended care hours after camp for those entering kindergarten through sixth grade. This program includes a kosher, nut-free snack and daily supervision of age-appropriate group activities, games, crafts, playground, gym time and more.
- P.M. care: 3:30 to 5:50 p.m.
- $70 per week
- A.M. care is not available for summer 2025
Daily options are not available.
For p.m. care, a 10-minute grace period will be given (until 6 p.m.), after which a $10 late fee will be charged for every 15 minutes, or any part thereof, per child enrolled.
