ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

RE:VISION is a movement designed to engage the community, promoting environmental awareness, resourcefulness, and creative problem-solving. By opening up a dialogue between artists, educators, and the public, the project seeks to inspire new perspectives on sustainability and help lead the way toward a more mindful future. At the heart of this exchange is the curatorial vision of Amanda Koss, who brings these voices together through powerful works. Visitors will encounter innovative pieces, including interactive sculpture and compelling artwork crafted from reclaimed materials such as found objects, fabric, and old housing.

About the Curator, Amanda Koss

Amanda Koss is an abstract expressionist and a pillar in the local arts economy. With a background in graphic design and a decade of experience in creative strategy, Koss bridges the gap between artistic expression and professional curation. As the Art Coordinator at the Janice Charach Gallery and an independent curator, she is dedicated to expanding accessibility for emerging artists. Her work in developing exhibitions and programs focuses on providing high-visibility platforms within corporate and social environments, utilizing artist-friendly commission structures to support creator sustainability. In her studio, Amanda maintains a versatile and prolific practice, ranging from innovative sustainability-focused pieces to contemporary acrylic works. She is widely recognized for her large-scale residential commissions, where she translates personal environments into vibrant, custom-tailored art. Her pivoting process is defined by an experimental approach to materiality, utilizing everything from repurposed food scraps and upcycled vinyl banners, to robot vacuums. Whether through high-concept sustainable art or bold contemporary painting, Amanda’s work remains a direct, tactile reflection of the beauty found in daily life.
