Developed in conjunction with Nanci LaBret Einstein, “Pushing Boundaries” features artists using diverse materials brought together in the spirit of play and concept of challenging space.
This immersive exhibit is a collection of installations from six artists:
Jeanne Bieri, Boisali Biswas, Terry Lee Dill, Nanci LaBret Einstein, Meighen Jackson, Jay Knapp and David Velez Felix.

Artist Spotlight: Amelia Currier
Amelia Currier lives in rural Michigan. Her 130-year-old barn has been converted into a sanctuary-like studio space. She is a sculptor, printmaker and painter who received her BFA in Intaglio Printmaking at WSU, Detroit, Michigan. She also attended the Instituto Allende, Mexico and The Boston Museum School of Fine Arts.
She has exhibited her work since 1985. Selected exhibitions include: The Museum of Contemporary Art, Detroit, MI; The Detroit Artists Market, Detroit, MI; The Scarab Club, Detroit, MI; Janet Turner Museum, Chico, CA; L. Ross Gallery, Memphis, TN; Conrad Wilde Gallery, Tucson, AZ; Muskegon Museum of Art, Muskegon, MI and FLATFILE Gallery, NY NY. She has also received numerous awards from juried exhibits.
Her sculptures and paintings are in the collection of Fidelity Investments, The Duffy Collection, Detroit, MI, The Ritz-Carlton in Washington DC and HI, The Ontological Museum and others. They are also in private collections in the US and abroad.
