Barbara and Douglas z”l Bloom Matzah Factory 2024

Join us as we prepare to celebrate Passover with the Barbara and Douglas z”l Bloom Matzah Factory! We are so excited to bring back our annual holiday celebration full of hands-on experiences for families with children ages 0-8, including a special Mini Matzah Factory Experience for children ages 0-4.

Matzah Factory – geared toward ages 4-8 years old- will feature: Passover Play, Matzah Making & Baking with Rabbi Shneur Silberberg of Bais Chabad Torah Center of West Bloomfield, and Hands-On Experiences and Crafts Around The Seder Plate.

Mini Matzah Factory – geared toward ages 0-4 years old – will feature: Passover music sing-along with Jesse Palter from Tunez 4 Totz, Matzah Making & Baking with Rabbi Shneur Silberberg, and Hands-On Sensory Bins and Crafts with the Sarah & Irving Pitt Early Childhood Center

Following is the schedule to help you plan your afternoon accordingly:

Matzah Factory Schedule (geared toward children ages 4-8): 3:00-3:30pm Passover play in The Berman Theater 3:30-5:00pm Hands-On Experiences and Crafts Around The Seder Plate in Handelman Hall 3:30-5:00pm Matzah Making & Baking featuring special matzah making demonstrations at 3:45 and 4:15 in the Lobby

Mini Matzah Factory Schedule (Geared toward children ages 0-4) 3:30-5:00pm Hands-On Sensory Bins and Crafts at The Porch 3:35-4:35pm Passover Music Sing Along with Jesse Palter in The J Family Room 3:30-5:00pm Matzah Making & Baking featuring special matzah making demonstrations at 3:45 and 4:15 in the Lobby

This program is offered to you at no cost thanks to the generosity of Barbara and Douglas z”l Bloom.
