Artist Talk: Sunday, March 29, 1 PM
A Little Bit of Light is an art show celebrating the inner light that lives within each artist. Created through Soul Studio, part of Friendship Circle, these works are expressions of identity, belonging, and creativity. Through color, texture, and personal expression, they invite viewers to slow down, truly see the person behind the work, and recognize the power that comes from being seen. Soul Studio is a supported art studio program with an open studio space and gallery for adults, 18 years or older with special needs in West Bloomfield, Michigan. (Provided by Friendship Circle)

Founded on the passion and vision of a young Jewish artist, the Janice Charach Gallery honors the legacy of its namesake. Janice Charach, a graduate of Detroit’s College for Creative Studies, believed deeply in the concerns of emerging artists before she lost her battle with cancer at age 39. In her memory, we have created a world-class forum for creators of all backgrounds, inspired by her love of art and the Jewish value of tikkun olam, or repairing the world. We believe that art has the power to connect people and build community, and we are committed to fostering an inclusive and creative environment for all.
