DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Open Play at the J! Join us in the NEW JFamily Room inside The J\nevery Monday morning that schools are typically in session. We will be open\nfrom 9:00 AM until 12:00 noon for fun and play time! Each week\, we will have a\ncircle and story time around 10:30 AM\, but you are welcome to come and go\nanytime during Open Play hours. \n**Open Play is geared toward families with children ages 0-4.** Parents\,\ngrandparents\, and other caregivers are welcome! _This is a drop-in program\,\nnot a drop-off._ \n**Cost: $5 per family per session.** Register for as many Mondays as you would\nlike! DESCRIPTION:**What is Sharing Shabbat?**\nSharing Shabbat is a 7 month program for families with children ages 0-8. Your\nfamily will participate in monthly shabbat experiences as you build\nrelationships with families and learn how to celebrate shabbat in your home.\nSharing Shabbat welcomes all families including those who are new to town\,\ninterfaith\, multi-faith\, single parent families\, Jews of Color\, Queer\nfamilies\, families with disabilities\, and families looking to make new\nconnections in the community. \n**All families will participate in the following:**\n*An Opening Shabbat Dinner and Art Workshop\n*A Challah Bake\n*A Parents Night Out\n*A Closing Havdalah Celebration\n*Four home hosted shabbat meals (can be Friday night dinner or Saturday brunch/lunch): families will be placed in small cohorts that will gather together in each other’s homes to celebrate shabbat. Hosts will be provided with a $75 stipend to help cover the cost of the meal as well as a Sharing Shabbat host kit. If you are uncomfortable hosting in your home but would still like to participate in the program\, we welcome your application and will work together to accommodate your family! \n**How to participate?**\nTo apply\, please submit this application by September 3rd. DESCRIPTION:The popular series Bubbies\, Zaydies\, and Grandbabies is continuing this\nspring!\nAt Bubbies\, Zaydies and Grandbabies\, grandparents and grandkids play together\,\nsing songs\, enjoy an interactive story time\, and meet new friends. This series\nis taught by former West Bloomfield 1st grade teacher\, Sarah Sherman. Sarah\nco-created the original class and has quite the following!\nRecommended for children ages 2 years – 4 years.
