DESCRIPTION:Join The J Kids & Families departments for an Infant and Child CPR Training\nsession. \nThis training will cover the essential skills needed for pediatric and infant\nCPR. Upon completion\, attendees will receive a certification provided by the\ninstructor\, Randi Krause\, a nurse practitioner. Mannequins and necessary\nsupplies will be provided for hands-on practice. The course will also include\ninstruction on the use of an AED\, as well as basic first aid and choking\nprevention techniques. \nAbout the Instructor:\nRandi Krause brings 14 years of experience working in the emergency room as a\ntechnician and registered nurse. She earned her nurse practitioner designation\nin December 2023 and currently practices at an urgent care facility. \nRandi is passionate about teaching and believes everyone should be equipped\nwith basic CPR skills. DESCRIPTION:Two Part Series: Mixed Media by Land and Sea\nPushing the Boundaries of Landscapes and Seascapes  \nInstructed by Marci Bykat \nJoin us in one or both of two upcoming workshops in which we will lead you\nstep by step into the art of landscape and seascape painting. Each participant\nwill be able to make two or more landscapes per class using watercolors\,\nacrylic markers\, oil pastels and other less conventional materials like\nbleeding tissue paper\, and tools and materials made from nature and wax. \nWORKSHOP 1:\nPushing Boundaries in Landscapes  \nSunday\, January 26\, 1 – 3 PM\n$50\, Materials Included\nRegistration Deadline: January 21\, 2025 \n WORKSHOP 2:\nPushing Boundaries in Seascape\nSunday\, February 9\, 1 – 3 PM\n$50\, Materials included\nRegistration Deadline: February 4\, 2025 \nYou will have the option to register for Workshop 2 only\, since workshop 1 has\npassed. \n*Each session needs a minimum of 7 students to run.
