They partner with local arts organizations like the\nBirmingham Bloomfield Art Center and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra to give\npeople with disabilities the opportunity to be creative artists\, musicians\,\nwriters\, and performers. This exhibition is a showcase of the work\nparticipants have made over the past year. \nThe projects featured in this exhibition showcase each artists’ unique\npersonality and view of the world. The purpose of\nthis class is to familiarize the student with the aspects of color\, their use\nand impact in an artwork. Through selected color schemes\, the student will\ncreate a small painting using these principles. Previous painting experience\nis helpful but not necessary.
