The J invites you to a special conversation on talking to our\nchildren about Israel\, antisemitism and their own Jewish identity. I understand how trauma and life experiences can shape a child\nor teen’s life which is why I am so passionate about helping youth through\nthese vulnerable years. Growing up with constant access to tech and social\nmedia\, especially during unprecedented times\, is very tough! I want to support\nyou through it all. \nBrooke Bendix\, AM\, LCSW  is the founder of Therapyology and a Licensed\nClinical Social Worker who specializes in individual and group therapy for\nkids\, teens and adults. Read the\ntales of Tevye the Dairyman and consider how each of Tevye’s daughters\nrepresents a different future for the Jewish people. Look at the rise of\nYiddish theater in New York and reflect on the conditions that made the\nproduction of Fiddler on the Roof possible. Finally\, we will watch Tevya\, a\n1939 Yiddish film adaptation of the stories\, which we will compare with the\n1971 film of the Broadway show.
