They partner with local arts organizations like the\nBirmingham Bloomfield Art Center and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra to give\npeople with disabilities the opportunity to be creative artists\, musicians\,\nwriters\, and performers. This exhibition is a showcase of the work\nparticipants have made over the past year. \nThe projects featured in this exhibition showcase each artists’ unique\npersonality and view of the world. This\nprogram is sponsored by the JKids & Families departments: JFamily\, JCC Day\nCamps and Special Needs\, and Sarah and Irving Pitt Early Childhood Center and\nOpening the Doors. \nThe J is also excited to welcome Repair the World who will be coordinating a\nspecial service day opportunity! This will take place from 10:00 -1:00 in The\nJ’s lobby. Make sure to stop by during Mega Open Play! \nMEGA Open Play is geared toward families with children ages 0-8. \nCost: $10 per family per session.
